MAUHS student nominated for STEM conference

A local student will represent Mount Anthony Union High School at this summer’s Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders.

Kaity O’Brien of Woodford, who is a junior at Mount Anthony Union High School, was selected to attend the three-day conference, which is held in Lowell, Mass. from June 29 through July 1. Students who are chosen for the program must have a 3.5 GPA and an interest in science and technology. Typically, about 4,500 students from around the country attend the event.
