Wareham student to be seated at Science Congress

A soft-spoken freshman at Wareham High School may have the opportunity in a few months to discuss the moon with someone who walked its surface nearly a half century ago.

Jasmine Black, 15, was recently selected as a delegate to the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders which will be staged June 29 through July 1 at the Tsongas Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. The congress is organized by the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists based in Washington, D.C., with an office in Cambridge.
