Student achievers applauded by school board

Wareham High School freshman Jasmine Black was commended by the committee for her selection as a delegate to the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders on June 29 through July 1 at the Tsongas Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. The congress is organized by the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists based in Washington, D.C., and, according to its website, “is an honors-only program for high school students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.”
