North High student recognized for love of STEM

A North Fort Myers High School freshman is headed to Boston this summer to take part in the The Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders.

The student, Tanner Hollway, was nominated for the honor by John C. Mather, a winner of the Nobel Prize in physics and science.

During the event, students from across the nation will hear from Nobel Laureates, National Medal of Science recipients and representatives of the world’s top universities for technology.

Hollway was recommended for the event because of his passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), his leadership skills and the success he has found in the classroom.
